a new season starting on SAT 6th & SUN 7thSeptember.
Everything is done
on our side just waiting for the usual late crowd with their forms it

PHOTO’S.
All teams must
exchange photo’s before the game, if you have a problem with the other
teams manager ask the referee.
No photo’s no
points and you cannot give teams permission to play without photos
otherwise you could lose your points. We have worked hard to get the I.D.
cards up and running so lets give them a chance.

Season 2002/03
Another season coming to an end
some ups, some downs, some highs and some lows. But first lets thank
everyone involved with the running of the Bootle L&N Children’s footy
league. The managers and coaches, hard work at times but without them no
one would kick a ball. Behind the scenes fund raisers it costs lots of
cash to run teams and a lot of times it is out of their own pockets. Kit
washers again most times done out of their own pockets. Helpers mums and
dads once again hard work at times but all vital to our main connection
children’s football.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
We are looking forward to our
two presentations at Litherland Town Hall first on Saturday 10th
May at 1.00pm for the 7’s, 8’s, 9’s and 10’s. Second at same venue
Saturday 31st May at 1.00pm for the 11’s, 12’s, 13’s and 14’s.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
A great season dominated by
Crosby St, teams but with some new winners and also great clubs from the
past. Our inter league under 14’s became Champions defeating Warrington 3
– 1 run by Jim McCormish (Warbreck), Billy Neilson and Sammy from Crosby
St.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Our under 12’s run by Tosh
Ryan, Ants Naylor and dad Tony beaten 1 –0 in the final against St Helens
Good Luck to St Helens but we never played on the night.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Both sets of managers, helpers
and players did our league proud and we hope next years under 12’s and
14’s will continue in their footsteps.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The League will continue to
grow some teams leaving some coming in. You will have until the end of
the may to place your deposits after that we will go to a waiting list and
then if needed, advertise.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
We also start off needing 10
new teams for out under 7’s on a Saturday morning at the N.A.C. It is the
end of April some divisions still not sorted out and others still playing
for runners up spots. A long but great season.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I have just had a great day
where we held four finals, the crowds, the teams, the weather all perfect
and marine over the moon not only with the much needed revenue but also
the behaviour and standard of our teams and supporters. Marine right
after our finals began pulling down the dressing rooms all to be re built
for next season. We wish them well and look forward to another date next
year.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
A lot of things happening in
the close season when we will work to improve our league. Referees,
managers and coaches, which in the end must benefit the children. We will
keep you posted on the web site with our monthly newsletters.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
A great day at the N.A.C. for
our Mini League Cup Finals under 7’s, 8’s, 9’s and 10’s.
None of the finalists
disappointed as Dolphins took the under 7’s Cup, a great battle with
Crosby St JFC.
Crosby St JFC took the under
8’s Cup after a tough match with Bugzees.
Crosby St won the under 9’s
against Kingsbridge completing a fantastic treble.
The under 10’s match went into
extra time were Chesterfield came out the victors over Forefield Rangers.
Once again the crowds and the
teams were a credit to their clubs.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The sad loss of Eric Shodeke
will always be in the thoughts and minds of St Elizabeth as well as all
his family and friends, so with the help of Denis we will set up a
memorial cup. When we know more we will let you know.
